God directed Pastor Tim and his family to move to Yuba City and begin a church with the instructions to “preach the gospel of anointing to anyone who would listen.” After a series of strong prophetic confirmations and miracles they were sent out and blessed to begin the new work by Livings Stones Church in Springfield, Oregon. They began the church in April of 1997 in a home with 12 adults. The Lord did many exciting things as the new church was established and started serving the Yuba-Sutter community.
Our Development and Involvement in the Area:
Victory Christian Fellowship developed into a unique community of believers with a heart to participate in the end time movings of the
Spirit and to see unity and revival in the Yuba-Sutter area. Once established, VCF became active in coordinating and encouraging joint church , events, revival tent meetings, outreaches, etc. The church joined a world-wide network of churches called Harvest International Ministries in 2001
After the church participated in two 40 day fasts in 2004 the doors began to open for more connections with ministry world-wide. Connections opened for Pastor Tim to do some short term mission work in Europe, India and Africa. People and families in the church started taking various short term missions trips. VCF became more involved with the The Call (a world-wide prayer movement). VCF started supporting a variety of local and trans-local ministries. The church began releasing people into their own ministries. One leadership couple involved with the church from the beginning (David and Mamie Bronson) along with several other leaders started Life Center Church in Chico in 2008. Another pastoral leader (Jason Smith) began his full time traveling ministry, Empowered International, in 2009
Our blendings and mergings:
In May of 2007 Victory Christian Fellowship merged with Praise Chapel Christian Fellowship and became Fusion Christian Fellowship. Fusion was a unique blend of two churches merging and operating their new combined ministry from two locations, while at the same time sharing the two facilities with two other congregations - House of Prayer and Church on the Move.
In May of 2009 Pastor Tim accepted the invitation to join with the vision of the Embassy of Heaven given by the Church of Glad Tidings to a number of area churches. In July of 2009 those who wished to follow that direction relocated their ministry operations to the Embassy of Heaven Campus.
At the Embassy we operate as a separate and fully functioning, self-sustaining congregation, but we also participate together in some ministries with the other churches on the campus. (such as the joint church Embassy service on Sunday mornings)
